Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

My Musical Brain respects your privacy. This policy explains how My Musical Publisher handles information when you use the macOS application and its optional social-platform connections.

1. Local-first application

My Musical Publisher is designed to keep your media library, drafts, schedules, and local app data on your Mac. We do not operate a service for storing your media library or publishing history.

2. Optional platform connections

If you choose to connect a YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, or other supported account, the relevant platform displays its own authorization screen. You decide whether to grant access and can revoke access through the platform’s own account settings. See our data-deletion instructions for removing local app data.

Connection credentials and authorization tokens are stored locally in macOS Keychain when the feature is available. We do not sell your platform-account information.

3. YouTube and Google account data

My Musical Publisher uses YouTube API Services when you connect your YouTube channel. With your authorization, the app accesses your channel identity, video details and upload status, and available channel analytics to display the selected destination, publish and verify your videos, and show analytics. It sends the video and metadata you approve directly from your Mac to YouTube. The app stores connection details, publication records, and cached analytics on your Mac; OAuth tokens are stored in macOS Keychain. We do not host your videos or publishing queue.

Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can review and revoke My Musical Publisher's Google access in your Google Account security settings. Revoking access prevents further authorized YouTube API requests from this connection; it does not remove videos already uploaded to YouTube. See our data-deletion instructions for removing locally stored account data and contact us if you need help.

4. Limited connection processing

Some platforms require a short-lived, encrypted authorization exchange to complete their official sign-in process. That exchange is used only to establish the connection; it is not a hosted media library, customer database, or publishing service.

5. Content you choose to publish

When you instruct the app to publish content, the selected media and accompanying publishing information are sent to the platform you selected, subject to that platform’s terms and privacy policy. My Musical Brain does not control those third-party services.

6. Website and contact information

This public website is informational. If you email us, we use your email and message to respond to you. We do not use your email for unrelated purposes without your consent.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the software changes. The updated date will appear above. Questions may be sent to info.mymusicalbrain@gmail.com.
