Data Deletion

Last updated: September 29, 2026

My Musical Publisher keeps account connections, drafts, publication records, and analytics on your Mac. We do not operate a customer media library or publishing-history database on our servers. The optional OAuth broker does not retain social-account tokens or uploaded videos.

1. Stop platform access

In your Facebook or Instagram account settings, remove My Musical Publisher from connected business integrations or apps. For other platforms, revoke My Musical Publisher in that platform’s connected-app settings. Revocation stops future API access; it does not delete posts already published on a social platform. Manage those posts on the platform itself.

2. Remove local app data

Quit My Musical Publisher. In Finder, choose Go → Go to Folder and enter ~/Library/Application Support/My Musical Publisher/. Moving the Data folder there to Trash removes this Mac’s local drafts, account bindings, schedules, publication records, and analytics for all brands in the app. This does not delete posts on social platforms. Emptying Trash makes the local removal harder to reverse; check that you no longer need those records first.

Social authorization tokens are stored separately in macOS Keychain. In Keychain Access, search for My Musical Publisher items and remove only the app’s connection entries after you have revoked platform access. If you are unsure which entries belong to the app, contact us before deleting them.

3. Request help or deletion of correspondence

For help identifying local files or Keychain items, or to request deletion of information you previously sent us by email, contact info.mymusicalbrain@gmail.com. We cannot remotely erase files from your Mac or content from Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or another platform.
